What are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants

A dental implant appliance is used to replace the roots of teeth. The implant is surgically attached to the jaw bone and an artificial tooth is attached to the top of the implant, creating a natural looking, undetectable replacement.

Implants can improve your lifestyle, restoring lost teeth so they look, feel, and function like your natural teeth without worrying about your smile.

Implants & Dentures

Implant Supported Dentures

Anchoring dentures with implants can provide a better fitting, more comfortable, stable and secure chewing experience. Dentures with implants also help in preventing steady bone loss caused by traditional dentures.

Implants & Bridges

Implant Supported Bridges

Fortunately, bridges can be attached to implants instead of the adjacent healthy teeth. Unlike dentures, a bridge bonded to implants is never removed. It is stable in the mouth and works very similarly to natural teeth.

Let Us Answer Your Questions

Is getting a dental implant worth it?

Your teeth affect everything - from your smile and confidence, to your ability to eat, speak and participate in everyday activities. There is no better option to restore missing teeth. As a permanent restoration, dental implants are an ideal investment in your oral health.

Do I really need a dental implant?

In many circumstances a dental implant isn't necessary. When you visit us for your complimentary consultation we will provide you with an accurate, honest diagnoses. If you don't actually need an implant placed we won't try and push you into getting one.

How long does an implant last?

Nothing lasts forever, but for most patients 45 years or older a dental implant will last for life. The implant itself won't typically need replacement but the crown or cap placed on the appliance may need restoration or replacement every 10-15 years.

Does insurance cover dental implants?

Our wonderful staff will work with you to see if your insurance company will cover the dental implant procedure. If for any reason it's not covered, we will let you know and will work with you to develop a financial plan if needed. Our patients often tell us that it's completely worth the investment of their time and money to permanently replace their missing teeth with dental implants.

Will I lose anything by coming in for the free consultation?

Of course not. The consultation is completely free of charge. We are limited in how many consultations we can schedule during any given period - so make sure to schedule yours as soon as possible. A healthy smile and good oral health isn't something you should procrastinate about.

Are there payment options available?

Yes, ask our office about financing options or payment plans. CareCredit® offers reasonable interest rates for patients who need to finance their dental care. We also work with LendingClub Patient Solutions.
